Correction, she DOES do different voices and accents but still in character as Tess addressing the audience directly as the narrator of her own story. Just back from my third viewing and I must emphasise that it’s a quite extraordinary piece of theatre. Also, the run apparently extends to 16 Sept; I had thought it was one night only, but clearly it depends on your cinema. I urge anyone to try to see this. I might even try to find a fourth viewing!
