Off to Canazie for 1 week. Would appreciate help with best via ferrata's and hiking routes within a couple of hours drive.

The 1st ferratta I ever did in the dolomites was this one VF dei Finanzieri Colac (VF3C). Its just down the road.

As is this one Via Delle Trincee/La Mesola (VF4B)

Enjoy

If the weather's bad then the Lagazuoi tunnels at the Falzarego pass are good. VF Brigadata Tridentina is good but gets very busy.  2 Hours drive will get you to most of the main Dolomites.  Bergsteigen.com for topos.

Every VF around your area is awesome.  As are the walks in and out.  Get this guide

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Via-Ferratas-Italian-Dolomites-1/dp/1852848464

(I've only used an earlier version but assume this is just as good).

The ones mentioned earlier are awesome.  But so are all the rest. If you want the biggest mountain route go for linking 2-3 of the Tofana VFs starting with Punta Anna.  See above book.

Or Traverse VF Tomaselli at Falzarago.  Or Marmalada if you have crampons and rope.

Too many to type.  All are brilliant.

Canazei is as good as / better than Cortina or Corvara. Huge range of grades & options available with public transport. Highlights areI Magnifici Quattro (VF6B)Laurenzi-Molignon (VF4C). You could even do overnight link ups eg VF dei Finanzieri Colac (VF3C) to Col Ombert/Kaiserjeger (VF4C) with a stay at Rifugio Contrin before Marmolada West Ridge to Punta Penia (VF) (VF4C). Lots of options in Catanaccio / Rosengarten. Col Rodella VF (VF3A) to VF Oscar Schuster (VF3B) on Sassolungo, Delle Mèsules/Possnecker (VF) (VF4C) or Cesare Piazetta (VF) (VF5C) on the Sella Massif. Enjoy
