Hello 

Im off to Amsterdam for 3 days this weekend and have done a bit of Google searching for indoor walls/bouldering venues, seems to be a few venues dotted about

Can anyone give me any first hand advice of any to visit?

There's a place down the reeperbahn that is quite easy, lots of big jugs to get a hold of - and some cracks for jamming

Weekends are relatively quite; although kids parties are during the day....

There are several locations:

- Klimhal centraal; near the central station. Easy to get to, although the bridge is being renovated; need to use the tunnel.

- Mountain network; somewhere in the west in a flat. Good overhang lead wall, 

- Klimhal Amsterdam: even more to the west.

- USC; University gym; small but accessible for non students. Very new; very well maintained

Boulder gyms: (both are just fine)

- Monk; up north

- Het lab; on the west side. 

Bit of a trek from Amsterdam to Hamburg to go climbing for the evening.

(and yes I realise you were making a double entendre joke)

Why not just drive over to the Dutch Alps?
