Dow Crag Parking

It's a while since I've been to Dow. Is it still permissible to park at the top of the hill in the "normal" spot. Thanks

Yes, the car park at the top of the Walna Scar Road was open a week last Sunday when we used it.

Bur the car parks in Coniston village were still shut.

A Cumbrian friend took a wander up Dow from the Duddon side last week and reported no problems with parking there.

I took the last parking space on the Duddon side of the Walna Scar road last Saturday... at 9.30am. Early birds and all that.
