Following a burst of development back in October last year I have produced a guide to this new area of Segaria. There are over 30 routes here now most at the easier end of the grades and are ALL trad routes.

The Barranco Buttresses have a number of advantages over the main South Face (as described in the rockfax) that mean it could turn into a much more popular destination:

1) The approach is only about 15 - 20 minutes and primarily level.
2) The routes are much shorter, primarily single pitch.

So check out the guide:

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

In reply to Adrian Bates: Keep up the good work...it would be especially nice to see some more easier multi-pitch trad.

In reply to Offwidth: The two ridges either side of The Lost Bay have been climbed.
Climbingpixie takes the left hand ridge at H V Diff
Bingely Bong takes the right hand ridge, which can actually been seen as the arete on the left of the picture of Far Side Slabs Left.

In reply to Al Evans:

Ok, I admit it, Al is managing to climb new routes quicker than I can add them. Still at least I now hve it published shouldn't take long to add those two.
