I just saw on Will Gadd's blog that Ueli Steck and Simon Anthamatten have climbed the North Face of Tang Keng Poche, which has repelled many alpinists in the past.
They climbed it in lightweight alpine style over 3 days and are hoping to follow it up with South Face of Annapurna.
Sounds like it must be hard if Will Gadd gave up on it previously!
In reply to Alasdair Fulton: With all due respect to Will Gadd, he is an awesome technical climber, but I think it is fair to say that Ueli Steck is light years ahead of any Alpinist at the minute. Simon Anthamatten no slouch himself.
