About North Face Summit Baltoro 800 Down Parka Lining?
This was a parka that debut in 1999-2000 and retailed for about $499 USD. Its no longer made or sold, but the lining consited of a shiny aluminum-like material called "Radiant Lining" that reflected body heat back to the skin and distributed the core heat evenly. This feature made the jacket between 40% to 50% warmer than if it didn't have it.
I noticed the only North Face product that still has this very advance technology is the Himalyan Summit Suit, but I only need a down coat. I think Patagonia is starting to use this technology on their DAS Parkas but I'm not sure.
Does anyone know of Downs or Synthetics that currently use this heat reflective Radiantlining?
