Don't know, I still have mine up in the attic.
I remember meeting some guys on Skye years and years ago who, being in the trade, had tried to destroy one of these helmets. They said they couldn't even get an ice axe through it.
Certainly (see the cycle helmets thread of a few weeks ago) there's a lot of nonsense lmho spoken about helmets regularly needing replacing. Sunlight is probably the biggest killer.
