The La Sportiva Futura - less rubber a good thing?!

Now these might be good if you aren't paying for them, but really, how long are these going to last if you use them for 90% of your climbing?...

If only Miura had 6mm thick rubber, now they would be the perfect shoe!

In reply to JLS: Have used Speedsters for a while, after a time and some re-learning of footwork they have become extremely useful for using on intermediate footholds,polished rock and smearing and very hard wearing indoors.
The Speedsters are super flexible,my understanding of the Futuras are they are a bit stiffer so giving more support with all the implications that creates eg they sound/look like they could be awesome in pockets.
I am no way an elite climber but have found Speedsters a great innovation so maybe Futuras are in this same category.At the price here in UK I do not think I will 'invest' (or probaly need 'em anyway)to soon!!!
