need a short wander as recovering from asthma, want to do Yarmouth to the needles and wondered what conditions are underfoot, presumably this is mostly a sandy path with occasional harder surfaces
I've not done the walk from Yarmouth, but from Freshwater it is a nice grassy path on firm chalk Downland with fabulous views over the Island and across to the mainland. Well worth it and not very long.
