It certainly was yesterday.. 
Blizzard up Pen Y Ole wen and round to Carnedd Llewelyn, but then the forecasted break proved for a great finish and descent. 
Note: the steep descent down to Bwlch Eryl Farchog was fully iced up. 
I opted for the heather gully off to the left and then slogged back up to the ridge to avoid a slide. 

Incoming... Sunny on Moel Ddu, but a bit grim on Moelwyn Bach.

Plenty of snow round from Elidir Fawr to Carnedd y Filiast today. The steep section between Elidir Fach and Elidir Fawr was slippery enough to put crampons on. Quite a bit of soft snow elsewhere. Seemed to be melting lower down on the access road by late afternoon. 

Nice set of pics. Pity that I came away with all my rock gear but no winter kit for this week. Daresay that I will be climbing in T-shirt & shorts in Torbay this coming weekend!
