Just to let you all know my brother in law Grant Cunliffe is still missing somewhere in the Cairngorm mountains.
We presume he died there between the 19th 21st January.
The search now is to bring him home.
There will be another search by the Cairgorm and other rescue teams when the weather improves in May /June
He was last seen on 19TH January leaving the Corrour Bothy.
These are the areas where he may possibly be, the Braeriach Ridge, the area all around the Angels Peak
Devil's Point or the Cairn Toul
Please be aware of this information if you are in the area.
Many Thanks for your help
Jean Tunstill
Awful sorry to hear that. You would be better posting in the Rocktalk or Hilltalk forum. This one is for lost & found equipment, and may not be read by everyone. The moderators would give you the best advice.
In reply to jean t: And I should have added that Jean, I'm sorry for your loss and good luck with your search.

In reply to digby:
Many thanks for your kind thoughts.
Grant was a mountain leader and had led expeditions all over the world.
We can't imagine what happened.
You can still read his story on the Internet.
We have set up a Memorial Fund in his name for the rescue team.
Thanks again
