Anyone know any good fishing spots on the north coast of anglesey or great orme which are not too far to walk (i'm taking the wife who doesnt wana walk!) and where we are able to camp considerately that is as close to the shore as possible without getting wet!

or any south coast spots which you know are sheltered from the elements?

any help appreciated.i've checked sea fishing websites etc just looking for a personal touch to it.

cheers

In reply to greylag: Broad beach in rhosneigr, not far to walk. Fish 1 hour up and 2/3 hours down. 50yrd cast, on lugg/crab. Catch a lot of flats (nice eating), dog fish, and a chance of a bass. Cast 100yrds, makeral flapper for the rays and skate.

Or off the rocks of ty croes by the race track, similar baits short cast, dog fish, bull huss, skate, pollock, wrasse etc

I was impressed with the locals fishing on the outflow of Wylfa nuclear station. It's the warm water, you see. The fish like it.
