I started climbing in 2014. Climbing has introduced new goals and interests into my life. First of all climbing has given me opportunity to meet amazing people with different backgrounds and has taken me to beautiful nature of Norway, Italy, Spain, England, Malta, Sweden, Austria, Germany, France, Andorra, Croatia, Slovenia, Thailand, Canada, Philippines, Cyprus and more. Secondly, I love to climb because climbing is both physical and mental challenge. The challenges are complex. It requires strength, endurance, problem-solving skills, planning, cleverness, motivation, patience and courage. I enjoy the meditative state during rock climbing. I like the individual pursuit, knowing that when you fall it’s all on you, but when you finally send a difficult route, it’s also all you. Completing a route that takes nerves, self-control and resilience gives me great satisfaction. Climbing keeps me in great shape and I developed strong friendships with my climbing friends due to the level of trust involved and through sharing challenges and experiences.
I enjoy and love travelling specially climbing trips. I appreciate being in the mountains, forests and climbing crags. I climb traditional and sports regularly in Oslo and Drammen. One of my favorite climbing places in Norway is Lofoten.
