Morning All

I am traveling from Sheffield to Newcastle tomorrow and have time for 6 hours outdoor climbing along the way. Any recommendations please. Probably going up the A1 route !

First thought would be Slipstones but think it would perhaps be unbearably hot, Brimham you'd probably be able to find shade a bit more easily as it faces all sorts of directions.

That was my first thought too, it being a fantastic crag. However, having been there in a heatwave it really is a furnace!

Surely any grit will be unbearably midgy in tomorrow's stillness, too.
