Was at Battleship Edge crag today and the rain and wind have caused a huge mudslide/land slide affecting some of the routes. A huge layer on mud and loose rock seems to have fallen from above the crag above the route 'the kane mutiny' affecting the neighbouring routes to right upto Bilboes and left to 'borstal breakout'. This end of crag is littered with loose mud and randown boulders that have fallen from above. The same layer of mud above the 'wind in the riggin' routes is also loose and looks like it may be coming down, avOId this area for a while until it stablises, approach paths also if terrible state at moment
In reply to Alex More: Was bouldering at Church Rock today, two massive mud/rock slides there on the beach also almost reaching to the sea where the grass banks have given way, also big rockfall to left of Laws traverse start at Stair Hole although that route not affected. It seems logical that other local crags have been affected so take care if climbing in Dorset at the moment
