Hi everyone,

I'm currently conducting research as part of a design project at Loughborough University. It's focussed around identifying a design opportunity to make climbing more inclusive for visually impaired climbers.

I'm trying to understand the methods used by climbers with visual impairments and how effective they are. If you are a blind/impaired climber yourself I'd really appreciate you taking 5 mins to fill out my questionnaire below or forwarding this on to someone who this applies to.

It's pretty straightforward stuff and there's only 6 tick-box style questions.

I understand it's a niche category so I need all the help I can get!

Thanks so much

PS: There is an immersive reader option in the top right of the form for text to speech, hope this helps!

Possibly consider getting in touch with the Bendrigg Trust:

https://www.bendrigg.org.uk/

I would also consider getting in touch with Alex West at the BMC as he should be able to bring it to the attention of the paraclimbing community:

Hi Mini, it would be great to get your thoughts on this, thank you for the reply. I've just sent you an email with more details.

In reply to Duncan Bourne:

Hi Duncan,

Yes Jesse is a great suggestion, I'm sure he also regularly climbs at the local gym in Loughborough. However, there's already so many interviews with Jesse and he's probably already answered my questions if I do some basic googling!

I'm really looking to conduct some primary research at this stage and get as many respondents as possible. I'll definitely consider contacting Jesse later down the line though.

Many thanks

Hi Spenser,

I've followed both of those up, thank you for the suggestions!
