reminds me of a plea at Font for people to keep off a fragile  boulder on a pedestal,near Cul De Chien.The sign asks us to keep off.People were bouldering on it within 2 metres of the sign.

Only true scumbags would do this.

Funnily enough a current BMC candidate used to take pleasure in trundling. They did not get my vote. 

Probably just a bunch of pissed-up or stoned idiots who drove out in the chavved-up Clio and thought it would be funny to push the boulder off the top. I remember climbing at Wintour's Leap as a kid and being bombarded by rocks and glass bottles that some muppets were throwing off the top.
