A friend of mine will be in the Lakes later this month with two 10 year olds.  He is looking for an instructor for a climbing taster session for the kids. Any recommendations?

He's a BMG, but it looks like he now works with various other instructors (including Esther Foster who someone has suggested above).

You might find that a lot of them are busy this time of year. It might be worth posting on Lakeland climber’s with a day off on Facebook to see who is available

Have climbed with Katie in the Lakes and Chris Ensoll in the Alps and both were great people.

Can also strongly recommend Nick Cannon-Jones https://morethanmountains.co.uk/ who is a really thoughtful teacher and knows the Lakes incredibly well.
