So it looks like the unprecedented dry spell is over, and we're back to business as usual and trying to find stuff that isn't too wet.

So how wet is the rock in North Wales at the moment? On the off chance that we get decent weather until later on tomorrow, are we likely to find everything dry or just quick-drying stuff dry or nothing of any note dry?

In reply to Ramblin dave: I'm based on Anglesey, it's really not been that bad. A few odd showers- you're making it out like it's been chucking down constant.

As for gogarth/holyhead it'll easily be dry tomorrow barring any further rain, Holyhead dries quickly anyway. Tremadog will be absolutely fine as well.

I'd say there'll be loads to go at that's dry providing it doesn't chuck down tomorrow.

Im based in Capel Curig, I think most stuff would be dry as we've not had loads of rain, few showers though.

More rain is forecast for tomorrow evening but so have thunderstorms for the last 3 or 4 days that never turned up.

Southern snowdonia has only see a couple of showers mid week. Been out today everything bone dry. Very dusty rope is filthy wash required.

Get out early and enjoy.

Tanked down most of the night, but the sun's been out for the last couple of hours. The usual quick drying areas should be OK at the moment but there are more showers forecast for later.

So we went up Amphitheatre Buttress on saturday (something that's been on the to-do list for donkeys' years) and it was as dry as you'd like (and brilliant). And went on slate today, which was also fine, as you'd expect given that slate basically seems to be dry at any time when it isn't actually raining.
