An 18m tall (albeit outdoor) wall is newsworthy?

Especially as Ratho is as good as being outdoors.

Stockport is 22m at its highest, Manchester is/was 20m and Kendal 18.5. 

Given that a major wall in a big city like Manchester had to close I imagine it' will be pushed to make it somewhere between Cheltenham and Gloucester.

Are any of these outdoors? As pointed out earlier, glamping under canvas at tall Ratho is practically outdoors…

It is closed sadly,  but its there ! Im sure you could just rokt up if you really wanted to

Having just visited 270, there’s a lot there, it’s well set and worth a visit if you are passing- and it’s got a good cafe!

Yes still closed. Climbed it once, the top section felt very insubstantial! 

Been today. Climbed mainly on the outside main wall because of the novelty factor and it was a sunny day so nice to be outdoors. The routes were very well set, grades a bit soft. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

Yes it's not cheap, but they have spent £7m, it's an impressive facility.

Looks great, would've been better if they put some walls up around it mind; bit drafty on those winter nights.
