/ Peak Midges?
Are the midges biting yet?
I'm planning on going out to Eastern Grit on Monday evening, but the wind is meant to be minimal. If they are out, it will be horrible. Has anyone been got yet?
You'll be fine, it's still a bit early for them, and even if you get a few they won't be the same voracious kind you can expect later in the year.
I seem to have really attractive blood (or really reactive skin)
There’s the odd one about, and a few if you end up descending any damp heathery corners but they’re not biting yet!
When they smell me they might start to get hungry
There were a few at the roaches the other day but they didn't seem to be biting
Just got home from a bouldering sessional at Curbar, none out yet
So we all know where to direct our anger next week then..! ;-)
They were out with knives at Robin Hoods tonight.
Let's face it: roaches must be pretty intimating to midges!
