Bit of a long shot, but does anyone have any information about sport climbing on some of the sea cliffs near Genova (Italy)? We are planning on a trip down there on Monday from Northern Italy to escape forecast bad weather in the Alps. Struggling to find much information online and climbing shops don't seem to be open now until Monday pm. Ideally looking for an area with grade 5s/low 6s - any suggestions for locations to try?
Climbed on some sea cliffs East of Genoa a few years back, actually bought the guide book in Finale in the shop at the square, unfortunately I'm at work so unable to access the guide to assist you.
Never came across any climbing shops whilst along the coast so unable to help other than maybe suggesting going to Finale to source both the guide & climb there this weekend & save that trip for the next time?
Thanks for the replies all. Managed to pick up a guidebook in Finale after all, and had a cracking day on the coast at Nolitudine. Sicily is one for the future!
