Good luck to anyone running the 9 Edges tomorrow (9/9!)  Could be a tad toasty!

I'm doing it but probably sacking of the mass start and trotting if at 0730.

Very wise indeed!  I'm going to risk the 10:00 start but take a bowser-load of water.  Water at most CPs now as well (good news!)  Still going to be a bit purgatory I suspect.

Well, that was a bit of an epic...!  Hope you looked after yourself and aren't too battered.

I was almost exactly 1 hour slower today when compared to last year (4:43ish vs 3:43ish).  I've never done anything like that - and would be happy never do such things again!

Managed to (badly!) misjudge how much water I had in my platypus when beginning the traverse of Stanage.  Ran out of water before reaching the High Neb trig!  Then had to nurse myself to the CP at Burb North for a major re-fuelling session.  Still just about managed a stumbling run into the finish.

I predict a lot of cramp tonight...

I suffered pretty badly even with the early start.

Reasonably enjoyable until the Burbage valley then just stumbling to the finish. 

About an hour slower too. 

There's always next year!
