Cheap snowboarding holiday suggestions please

Anyone got any suggestions for snowboarding holiday destinations? My girlfriend is looking for a last minute deal for her first trip next week. Trouble is her friend is on a tight budget. So far Bulgaria is the cheapest option but the snow is crap. Any other ideas or maybe websites that she can search through. Thanks

Slovakia. Although I only know of 2 english chalet's. In my experience it's cheaper and better than Bulgaria, and there's a lot of other things to do as well. Main resort is Jasna, local town Liftovsky Mikelaus.

Is where I went, I think the other one is propoganda snowboards, something like that. There's a few threads on the snowboarding forums at scuk.

I just got back from Ellmau, austria and the snow was deep, the beer reasonable 3euro a pint, lift pass £150 pw and half board from £300 and only 1hr transfer. was great
