Me and friend heading down to north wales for a few days some time in July. Need advice for campsites preferably cheap but with showers ect. we wont have access to a car so please campsites that are walking distance from good crags thanks

I'd say the Tŷ Isaf, opposite the Vaynol Arms at Nant Peris but it is temporarily closed at present. Don't know if it will be open by July. Basic but cheap.

Piggybacking off this; anyone know if the camping over the wall by the Cromlech boulders is still going? The one where 'Mad Rosie' comes to collect a few quid in the morning?

Nope - lots of "No Camping" signs put up by the national park. It's been abused the last few years (both by tents and vans) so no surprise really.
