I'm really enthusiastic to advance myself closer towards my goal of being a mountain guide +/- BMG, but I need experience, mentorship, training as I have limited experience.
Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of money, so could anyone tell me of anywhere I can find this in exchange for work/volunteering. I know of the OTS scheme at Glenmore lodge, but realised too late (applications have now closed).
I'm willing to travel and I'd be happy to work for individuals who are very experienced in all forms of climbing, mountaineering, skiing. I can't profess to being particularly skilled in anything other kind of work than nursing. I am an RCI/Summer ML trainee. Advice would be gratefully received. I'm ready to commit everything to this.
