The title of this thread reminds me of the old joke about the Essex girl who was involved in a car crash. A paramedic eventually reached her and asked "Where are you bleeding from?". "Romford." she replied.

Whereabouts in the French Pyrenees?

Removed User 11 Aug 2007
In reply to Kev on the road:

Winnipeg, mb. The climbing is a good drive away, but its deserted, and property prices are half what they are in Calgary.

If you're prepared to drive 5 hrs for a days climbing then come & give it a go- the granite is sound but often dirty due to lack of traffic.

How's the climbing w of Calgary- looks awesome but I've heard it can be a bit loose & scary?

Do you know of any decent N American climbing web sites?

UKC is the best but it sucks at 1.25am Manitoba time.
