Can anyone recommend an excellent bouldering spot near the M6/M5 motorways?

I'm driving from Scotland to Bristol tomorrow and I'm trying to think of somewhere to stop for a break on the way down that wont impact the journey too much from a mileage perspective.

Nice one, thanks. Think I'll give Warton a look for an hour or two..
In reply to cha1n:

There may be some seepage around, I expect Woodwell will be wet. Warton is the best bet for some dry rosk. Be aware the walk in is about 15 minutes though.

Denham is accessible, parking right by the quarry and some reasonable bouldering.

Thanks Chris, I spotted that crag on the UKC map but thought I'd go for Warton because there was a good free topo on lakesbloc and it apparently dries quickly.

Ouch, 15 minute walk-in - forced warm-up/down! Cheers Bicep.

There is a Denham bouldering topo here:

So much choice eh?

PS Don't leave anything in the car if you go to Warton!

GCW has updated that old topo here: http://www.vimeo.com/groups/UKBouldering/file:2144

In reply to Chris Craggs:

Damn you Chris, you convinced me not to go anywhere now because my car will be full of luggage plus a laptop.

I went to an indoor wall in Dundee this evening and will drive straight home tomorrow with no climbing

Thanks for the info from everyone, anyway.

Better to be forewarned I would guess? For what its worth, at Denham the crag is 30 secs from the parking - though not that proximity means you are completely safe!
