I started to climb in the Mournes and it will always be a very special place for me. It's great that this guide has finally seen the light of day. My thanks to the guidebook writers - and to Andy Moles for this excellent review.

Such a daft statement deserves a good "Would you catch yerself on!"

That aside, I'm eager for a return visit to the area armed with the new guide - it looks mint.

Certainly looks a lot nicer than my 1998 guide! Will have to see if I can get out at Christmas at all when I'm home...
