Gone are the days of cheap and cheerful car hire in Spain!

In reply to Adam Lincoln: We recently used carjet in Nov for about £10 per day from Malaga, plus fuel charge £50 for a tank (you don't fill it up at end they do), it says on website includes everything but they wanted to add on an extra 50 euros for glass and tyres insurance at the airport. We took the risk and didn't pay this extra. Car was fine and fairly easy pick up.
I used holiday autos at New Year. Cost about £110 for a small car with all the full damage/crash waivers and 2 drivers for one week. Didn't have any problems (and have used them once before in Alicante with no trouble).
