Looked a few days ago about repairing holes on climbing shoes. I sent my Anasazi off to repair but I wanted to climb on my old Boreal Jokers which had a hole on the toe. Somebody on the forum asked whether Sugru would work. Here's the answer... No.

I applied it over the hole and it made it slippery (it was silicone, should have known...) and it ripped off really quickly.

So for anybody thinking of using Sugru, don't use it for climbing shoes, but check it out, it looks good for other applications!
