Have a look at the Craghoppers Kiwi stretch. Only own the winterlined ones myself, and unfortunately the linings pretty much stop them from stretching, but the outer is nice and stretchy and they are lovely and comfortable.

In reply to rockhuggerjamie: Prana Stretch Zions. My "go to" climbing pants, I love 'em. They fit well, they're stretchy, they've taken an ungodly amount of abuse and they didn't cost the earth.

I had a pair of the craghoppers for a while, a seam ripped right in the crotch area

God's Rock. Very simple compared with fancier brands but they work whereas most of the others don't. Unfortunately, they're the very devil to get hold of. Come on Kate, get your sewing machine out!

Absolutely. Why would anyone want to wear anything else?

I once won myself a wee little stove thingy by reviewing them over on Outdoors Magic. Marvellous.

In reply to rockhuggerjamie: E9's are reallly stretchy but the diamond crotch is prone to coming apart. I have moon cyphers but i have to wear a larger size so i can get high feet.

For summer I have some prana shorts which are pretty good so i imagine the trousers are the same.

Prana Stretch Zions!
Stretchy, dead light, very hard wearing and don't break the bank. Good colours too.

Recommend the kiwi stretch too. Have a look on amazon. Got mine half the price of other retailers. Cheap enough that u can trash them and get another pair.

Mountain Hardwear pack pants - not stretchy, but I've never had a problem moving in them.

I wear Regatta Geo Extol II trousers. Bargain price (under £30), super comfy as they are stretchy material, quick drying and water repellent material too.
They come in zip off or regular. Perfect for hiking too.

For cold weather, Montura Vertigo 2 (or slightly warmer... Vertigo Light).

And for warm weather... look no further than tights...

In reply to rockhuggerjamie: As far as I'm concerned you have two options.

No.1 http://www.folio-gothichippy.com/ds17-hippy-trousersethnic-printed-silk-har... or similar many styles and colors available.

No.2 http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004RZRQI8/ref=asc_df_B004RZRQI84370452/?tag=goo... incredibly stretchy fits like a glove and available in a range of colors and styles.

and both cheaper than any trousers branded by any gear manufacturer.
