Just found this online. Looks like a pretty good deal for anybody thinking of starting off a trad rack

Looks like a decent set, but I think it could be had for far less with some shopping around...

I reckon you could all of that lot perhaps with one or two very close substitutions for a little over £200 if you put a little effort in.

In reply to Nick Russell: Can be found that lot for about 250-260 but not much less.

With a little shopping i found:

Wallnut set 1-11 for £60
Offset alloy set 7-11 for £39
Aero straight gate carabiners X 3 for £6 each
10 x Xenon 20cm Quckdraws for £79
Torque nut set 1-4 for £40

Total: £236

So the deal is not too bad. But if you shop around you can beat it easily.

It's definately not expensive but I reckon field and trek is the place to go if you want cheap gear, all of those prices and maybe less if you can blag being a student or local to the shop area sometimes if your lucky.
Shops like to sell things at a marked up price so when they drop it back down to a normal price they can say they have knocked a shed load of money off but in reality they were never going to sell the gear at that high price for more than a week or two.
Thats just my opinion so it could be complete balls.
