Afternoon,

I have had this coat for around 5 years and although I know it is fab in extremely cold weather and the hood is amazing, I am just wondering what experience people have of this coat in wet weather.

I know it is classed as waterproof but just how waterproof is it???

The system is the same as buffalo products, if you do get wet, keep moving

In heavy wet cold weather it would be better to either put a waterproof on over the top or wear something else

I've worn it in some pretty crappy weather and occasionally gotten damp in it. Sleeves seem to go first, or maybe it's just that I'm more aware of it as I usually wear a short sleeved base layer underneath. I've never got to the point where the wetness becomes a huge problem.

IIRC it isn't classed as waterproof.

It's classed as showerproof/ water resistant. I wear mine a lot (climbed in it today) & tbh it has to be pretty vile to put a hardshell over it. For at least 8 months of the year (I live in the Lakes) its my go to top.
