Is there anything that compares to a pd800, at a reasonably similar price that I should be keeping my eye out for?

If you want a better deal than the Pipedream, keep an eye open on ebay and the UKC classifieds. Decent quality bargains don't come up very often, but I'm pretty certain they're more common than Pipedreams being in stock!
