cheap good accommodation within spitting distance of ben nevis. off next wednesday 6 feb for a week

taking tents for show only!

any ideas are appreciated

I'm becoming a convert to the Premier Inn Fort Bill. Cheap and cheerful but comfy beds, hot showers, tea and coffee, right next to the town (Morrisons, McDonalds and the Harvester or whatever it is next door) and only just more expensive than youth hostel (£41 a room last time I stayed there for two of us in a twin vs £17 each in the youth hostel). Closer to the north face car park than the Glen Nevis YH and you don't wake anyone else up when you leave at 0500!

Clearly there is always the Clach, which has a beer festival on this weekend!
