Looks like everything's firming up nicely. Heading over tomorrow to do something easy and wondering if any can recommend anything?

In reply to chrisharvey: You need to specify where "over" is to get a meaningful reply!

In reply to chrisharvey: Browncove crags above the Swirl car park (Thirlmere) on Helvellyn has about 4 gullies in grades I to I/II and a couple of ridges at I/II or II. Usually reliable conditions here.

Elsewhere on the Helvellyn range try Catstycam Gully at I, Nethermost Gully at I/II or Gullies 1 and 2 in Red Tarn Cove at II and I respectively (better check with the guidebook to be sure). Any of these are easily combined with one of Striding or Swirral Edge at I.

Meanwhile, Great End offers the classic, and even more reliable, Custs Gully at grade I or Central Gully at II.
