A group of us are considering Everest ABC via the icefall, and want to be guided. I've found a US company, but can you recommend any legit companies (preferably UK)?

Consider using a local guide. Half the price and all the money goes into the Nepalese economy rather than the profits of some western company. Gets you nearer to the local culture as well. Try Shiba Adhikari. Completely reliable and an excellent organiser. We used him for the Annapurna circuit and Sanctuary / Everest base camp and are using him again for a Langtang trek in March. Brilliant throughout.

Dan Mazurs company do a hell of a lot of work for the communities (medical facilities, education, etc)
