Is the big boulder still floating about under Grand Plage, or has it disappeared altogether now ?

Does anyone know what the comment about the 'track' above Grand Plage means?

There was always the dodgy step in the path at the top of the cliff there, wasn't there? Presumably it's even less pleasant now...

There was a boulder next to the start last summer, but I think it was a different and smaller one than the original. It was possible to start from the deck at much the same grade though. (I thought about E4 6b)

Yes, plus there was damage from rock fall or perhaps a smaller boulder being smashed against the face, just where the moves to get off the deck were. There was possible gear available behind a dodgy looking flake thing left by the damage. I didn't dare do it but it got a couple of ascents on the BMC meet and E4 6b was indeed suggested.

Anyone got a photo of the new, ammended Terrier's Tooth start?
In reply to Misha:

Your spot on Misha, I did it during the Meet and the start felt pretty stern - 6a, maybe 6b - difficult to say exactly which as I was on my 5th or 6th day on and the forearms were starting to find 4b moves challenging enough.

Sad to hear Crack in the Sky has been destroyed, I enjoyed it a lot!

Agree with Rob it felt pretty hard the new start, but maybe it has changed again now.

Having climbed it at the end of last summer, I would agree with E4 6b for Grand Plange in the state it was then.

Sounds like I might have made one of the last ascents of Crack in the Sky!
