Hello, a small bit of my shoulder socket has been chipped off from a judo injury a couple of years ago. I'm going to be having surgery next summer.

I can climb but I'm limited in in how much i can shock load my right shoulder which is really annoying on overhangs and Dynos. Also i have to do big reachy moves very cautiously.

I do regular strengthening exercises for my shoulder and rotator cuff which helps but I'm still limited in what i can do.
I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem or whether there is any training advice on what i can do to manage/reduce the problem.

In reply to Cerith: These are good but take it slowly & don't overdo it.

In reply to Cerith:
There was a UKC article about exercises to do to help to avoid shoulder problems about a year ago, it might be helpful for you?

It's bound to be searchable...

Edit: Here it is.
