My daughter is showing an interest in film making 10yrs old, and I would like to get a camcorder (second hand for christmas) this would also act as a family camcorder. I am looking for something that will expand if need be with external mic options and headphones out etc.
I have a good DSLR nikon D7200 that also have these options but I wouldn't feel to comfortable on unsupervised use of this.
does any one have any recommendations as to suitable camcorders and what are peoples opinion on going back as step to mini DV tape and getting a prosumer with more options? or does DSLR give more options?
budget would stretch to about £200
