BD Recall, 4 kbBlack Diamond Equipment, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), is voluntarily issuing two recalls. Subject to user inspection are select carabiners (including quickdraws) and Nylon Runners.

I received notification at 6pm on Thursday 4th , but unfortunately I was out all evening and on the road all day on the 5th - hence publishing the news first thing today.

Fortunately the following thread (http://www.ukclimbing.com/forums/t.php?n=634030) was formed at 10pm on Thursday, so whilst UKC Staff (i.e. me) may have been super-slow (sorry about that...), UKC User and regular UKC contributor Toby Archer was more on the ball.

Either way, I think we have successfully got the message out there between us.
