San Vito Sicily in February

We are thinking about going to San Vito in February. Can anyone advise on what the weather might be like at that time of the year? Is the town open (supermarket, restaurants)?
Or do you think that another time of the year is better?
Any recommendations for apartments for two people?
thanks

In reply to Dorte:

Last year in February half term, we had very good weather, sunny if a little breezy at times. San Vito definitely had the feel of a ghost town with limited bars/restaurants open. There were a couple of large shops open with plenty fresh produce, although they took some finding as they are shuttered up on Sunday when we arrived. We ate in until the last night as we were a group of ten and cooking became a sociable activity. Characterful island and excellent climbing. including a fab multi pitch on Pizzo Monaco. Our apartments had dodgy electrics, but guess there are plenty more. We saw very few other climbers during that week.
