I couldn't resist an old pair of Trax fish-scale x-country skis - only £10, but they'll do for bashing around the hill in North Yorkshire.

But they've old three pin bindings fitted, and I'd like to replace these with NNN bindings.

Any tips? Pre-drilling holes? y/n? Avoiding the previous screw holes? filling in old holes? any other do's or don'ts

Thanks.

In reply to Dave Perry:

You can get some little plastic plugs that fit into the old screw holes. Braemar mountain sports gave me a bag full when I brought my new binding from them. A dob of PVA glue also helps keep the wet out. Fitting the new ones is simple.
