Hi
We are in a very wet Calpe now and weather looking bad for next few days. Thinking of going to a wall tomorrow. Anyone have advice on best venue? Have seen there is a wall in both Alicante and Valencia.

Hi,

There's an outside wall in La Nucia at the big sports centre. Problem is you need to satisfy them that you're appropriately insured. I went up there at Christmas but had to pass for that reason. But 'rules is rules', that's fine. They were really nice about it, not officious. The wall's a bit old school but you could still have a few hours fun there - obviously weather permitting!

Apologies, have just read an email from my parter re conditions out there. Flamin' heck! I'd be looking for somewhere indoors with a nice cafe. The La Nucia wall would be grim in present conditions.

Thanks but no chance of going outdoors here. Maybe a winter route up the Puig!

There is a bouldering wall in Alicante. Can't remember what is called but it is OK.
