In reply to Robert Lavin:
Think it's getting pretty warm this coming week, but as of last week all the main lines in Ceillac were in good condition. Plenty of good lines at all grades to do in Fournel and Fressinieres too. The warm weather may quickly change that though. If you haven't already come across it, the 'go-to' site for conditions info out there is:
http://conditions.ice-fall.com/ it's sort of like their equivalent of the UKC winter conditions page. C2C is also worth checking
Think the comment by the team of guides that run the site puts it well: "Les conditions évoluent doucement mais vers le moins bien... la douceur est au programme. Malgré tout, les nuits sont fraiches et les cascades sont épaisses. "
En anglais, conditions are changing slowly but getting worse. Softness/thaw is the current trend. Despite this, the nights remain cold and the ice falls are well formed.
