Walking in the Vanoise

Hoping to do the Tour of the Vanoise in late June/early July. A quick Q: does it get orders of magnitude much busier once Francs starts its summer holiday (July 8th this year), or is it just a bit busier (yeah, I know, 'define busy'....)......

In my experiance Vanoise doesn't get very Busy ... ever... comparative to Ecrin or Chamonix so i think your probably pretty safe. Best to check on hut places for specific huts though.

It's a good tour, did it a few years back starting from Val d'Isere.

Did the 5-day tour in August 2016. I don't ever recall it being overly busy. There was generally always someone else in view but not tripping over anyone. At that time of the year there was still plenty room in all the huts we stayed at, though we'd still booked bunks.
