Posting just in case our log of Central Gully today inspires undue optimism! Not much ice around, apart from the main icefall on the route. Everything else was way too thin so we soloed around those bits. The main pitch was really good fun though. Thin but helpful IV and a fair bit of it. Too thin for screws, but I entertained my partner with a decorative icicle thread. Good to get out in the spindrift!
