If you are in Snowdonia this weekend and interested in making a future ascent of the Matterhorn, you are welcome to come along to a free and informal talk about the ascent. Covering topics like; which route, how hard is it physically & technically, how to prepare, equipment, questions and answers etc.

Time / Date: 1830-1930, This Saturday 27th May - All Welcome
Venue: Pete's Eats Cafe - Llanberis, upstairs room
Speaker: Rob Jarvis, an IFMGA Mountain Guide based in the Northern Alps

As I looked at the title, I thought "eh? As opposed to aiding it over a period of weeks (and weeks)? What is the world coming to?" and then I clicked and my brain clicked. Looks good - pity I'm a few thousand miles away....

Yeah, I read "free climb the Matterhorn", not "free talk, climb the Matterhorn." Sounds like a good talk , often the q and a is just as good. Pity I am also a few thousand miles away too. D'oh!

Would loved to have gone, but I'm up in the Lakes unfortunately. Sounds like just the thing for aspiring alpinists stuck here in the UK
